호피 단기선교팀이 사역을 무사히 마쳤습니다! 1진은 오늘 돌아오고 청소년팀인 2진은 아리조나의 국립공원을 들러 내일 (토) 돌아 옵니다. 호피 부족을 지난 16년간 섬겨오고 계신 최기연 선교사님께서 오늘 아침 전화를 주셔서 "단기선교팀과 한미교회에 너무 감사하다"며 인사를 전해 주셨습니다.
이번에 교회 본당에 오랜 숙원이었던 에어콘을 설치해 드렸습니다. 에어컨을 설치하느라 수고하신 서 권사님의 생신이 어제 였는데, 생일을 선교지에서 맞으신 권사님께 넘치는 은혜와 축복이 있기를 기도드립니다! 어린이 사역팀은 가지고 간 워터 슬라이드로 동네 아이들과 오후내내 신나게 놀아주었다고 합니다. 찾아온 아이들 가운데는 교회는 처음 와보는 친구도 있었다고 하는데, 메마른 땅에 사는 아이들의 마음 가운데 촉촉한 은혜의 기억들이 가득 차는 하루가 되었기를 기도합니다.
다시 한번 수고하신 선교팀 여러분과 후원해 주신 여러분께 감사 드리며, 자세한 선교보고는 이번 주일에 있을 예정입니다. 우리 가운데 선한일을 이루시는 주님께 감사와 찬양을 올려 드립니다. 할렐루야!

Our Hopi short-term mission team has successfully completed its ministry! The first group will return home today, while the second group, made up of our youth team, is visiting Arizona's national parks and will return tomorrow (Saturday). This morning, Missionary Kiyeon Choi, who has faithfully served the Hopi people for the past 16 years, called to express his heartfelt gratitude. He asked me to convey his sincere thanks to both our short-term mission team and the congregation of the Korean American Methodist Church for the faithful partnership and support.
One of the highlights of yesterday's work was the installation of a long-awaited air conditioning system in the church sanctuary. We are especially grateful to Exhorter Suh, who worked tirelessly on the installation. Yesterday was his birthday, and we pray that God will richly bless him as he celebrated this special day on the mission field. And our children's ministry team spent the entire afternoon playing with neighborhood children using the water slide they brought with them. We heard that some of the children who came had never been to the church before. We pray that, in the midst of the dry desert land, their hearts were refreshed with joyful memories of God's love and grace that will remain with them for years to come.
Once again, we extend our heartfelt thanks to every member of the mission team and to everyone who supported this mission through prayer, giving, and encouragement. A more detailed mission report will be shared during this Sunday's worship service.
To our Lord, who faithfully accomplishes His good work among us, we offer all thanks, praise, and glory. Hallelujah!
