8월 28일 오전 10시 비행기로 덴버를 출발한 21명의 페루 비전트립 팀은 현재 휴스턴 공항에서 리마행 비행기를 기다리고 있습니다. 마치 기드온의 용사들처럼 비록 작은 수일지라도 하나님께서 함께하실 때 큰 일을 이루실 것을 믿습니다. 이번 여정 가운데 주님의 인도하심과 보호하심이 충만하기를 기도합니다.

우리 교회 중고등부 학생 10명이 어제부터 덴버지역 연합 청소년 수양회인 Fuse 에 참석중입니다. 내일 (토)까지 진행되는 수양회를 통해서 큰 은혜 받고 돌아 올 수 있도록 많은 기도를 부탁드립니다! Ten of our Youth Group students are currently attending Fuse, a Denver-area joint youth retreat that began yesterday. Please keep them in your prayers so they may receive abundant grace through the retreat, which continues until tomorrow (Saturday)!

더운 날씨에도 불구하고 한 걸음에 달려와 기꺼이 섬겨주신 홈리스 선교팀원 여러분, 여러분의 헌신과 사랑의 수고에 하나님께서 무척 기뻐하셨으리라 믿습니다. 감사합니다. 땀과 기도로 빚어낸 섬김은 하나님의 나라를 이 땅에 드러내는 귀한 통로가 되었고, 누군가에겐 위로가, 누군가에겐 소망이 되었으리라 믿습니다. 수고하셨습니다. To our dear homeless mission team, Thank you for coming so willingly and wholeheartedly, even in the heat. I truly believe that your dedication and the love you poured out brought great joy to God's heart. Through your service—shaped by prayer and offered with sweat and kindness—God’s kingdom was made visible in a beautiful way. For some, it was a moment of comfort; for others, a glimpse of hope. Thank you for your heartfelt efforts. You’ve been such a blessing.

선교 바자회 가라지 세일 후 남은 물품들을 구세군에 기부하였습니다. 필요한 이웃들에게 작은 도움이 되기를 소망합니다. 함께 해주신 모든 분들께 감사드립니다. We donated the remaining items from our garage sale to the Salvation Army. Fourth of July, 휴일임에도 불구하고 중보기도팀의 기도는 끊이지 않았습니다! 기도회를 마치고 맥다방에서 담소를 나누는 중보기도팀을 사진에 담아 보았습니다. 교회와 교인들을 위해서 불철주야 기도의 끈을 놓지 않으시는 중보 기도팀 여러분께 감사를 드리며, 우리의 기도를 통해 역사하시는 하나님께 영광을 돌립니다! 아멘! Even on the Fourth of July holiday, the Intercessory Prayer Team did not cease to pray! After the prayer meeting, I captured a photo of the team sharing fellowship at McDonald's. We are deeply grateful to the Intercessory Prayer Team, who faithfully pray day and night for our church and congregation. And all glory to God, who works through our prayers! Amen!

Dear Beloved Members of Hanmi Methodist Church, It was in 1982 when twenty believers gathered at the home of Exhorter Kwi-Yeol Cha to hold the very first worship service of Hanmi Methodist Church. Now, by God’s amazing grace, we joyfully celebrate the 43rd anniversary of our church. As we reflect on the journey of these many years, we cannot help but offer our heartfelt thanks and praise to the Lord who has faithfully guided and sustained us. In particular, as we mark the second year since joining the Global Methodist Church, we give thanks for the many blessings God has poured out on our congregation over the past year. We began 2025 with a New Year’s Blessing Early Morning Prayer Week, lifting up our children and EM members in prayer. During the Lenten season, 90 members came together to offer 1,251 hours of united prayer. On Easter Sunday, the summit of that spiritual journey, we celebrated with great joy as 14 members received baptism and confirmation. During Lent, we also learned of Brother Santos, a ministry partner of our missionary in Nepal, who was diagnosed with cancer. In response, our congregation came together in prayer and raised $6,000 in special mission support. Then, the following week, after hearing a powerful mission report from Missionary Joseph Tak, several members were moved to begin supporting six refugee house churches in Turkey on a monthly basis—signs of new flames being kindled for mission. We were also blessed with 14 new members joining our church family in the first half of this year, filling our community with even more joy. In early June, our church participated in the Korean American Annual Conference with not only two pastors but also five lay representatives, demonstrating our commitment to serve the denomination beyond our local church. A few weeks later, we hosted the Central District Pastors’ Family Retreat with over 50 participants—another sign of our church's growing maturity and widening reach. And most significantly, after four years, our Vacation Bible School returned, filling the church with new life and vibrant energy. In addition to all this, the Lord has blessed us with many meaningful moments: the Women's Ministry hot springs retreat, joint cell group meetings, “Shepherd Life” Bible studies, the spring church cleanup, and our recent outdoor worship service. Remembering these moments and the abundant grace we have received through them, we would like to invite you to join us for our 43rd Anniversary Thanksgiving Service as we come together with joy and gratitude to honor all that God has done. 사랑하는 한미감리교회 교우 여러분께, 1982년, 차귀열 권사님 가정에서 20명의 성도들이 함께 모여 드린 첫 예배로 시작된 한미감리교회가 하나님의 은혜 가운데 어느덧 창립 43주년을 맞이하게 되었습니다. 결코 짧지 않은 세월 동안 변함없이 우리 교회를 지켜 주시고 인도해 주신 하나님의 크신 사랑과 은혜를 기억하며 감사와 찬양을 올려드립니다. 특별히 글로벌감리교회(GMC)에 가입한 지 2년째 되는 올해, 하나님께서는 우리 공동체 위에 참으로 많은 은혜를 부어 주셨습니다. 새해를 시작하며 신년 축복 새벽기도회를 통해 자녀들과 EM 교우들을 위한 특별한 기도의 시간을 가졌고, 사순절 기간에는 90명의 성도들이 함께 1,251시간의 기도를 올리는 은혜의 여정을 함께했습니다. 그 기도의 열매로 부활주일 예배에서는 14명의 성도들이 세례와 견신례를 받는 기쁨도 누렸습니다. 또한, 사순절 중에는 네팔 선교사님의 동역자인 산토스 형제의 암 발병 소식을 듣고, 6천 달러의 특별 선교헌금을 모아 보내는 사랑의 나눔이 있었고, 부활절 다음 주일에는 터키에서 사역 중인 탁요셉 선교사님의 선교 보고를 통해 감동을 받은 성도들이 자발적으로 매달 6곳의 난민 가정교회를 돕기로 결단하는 등, 선교의 불꽃이 새롭게 타오르는 시간도 있었습니다. 이와 함께, 상반기에는 14명의 새가족이 등록하며 공동체에 기쁨을 더해 주셨습니다. 6월 초에는 한미연회에 담임목회자와 부목회자뿐만 아니라 5명의 평신도 대표가 함께 참석하여 교회 벽을 넘어 교단을 섬기는 한미교회의 헌신을 보여주었고, 이어 50여 명이 모인 중부지방 목회자 가족 수양회를 저희 교회가 호스트하며 성숙한 섬김의 지경을 넓히는 은혜도 있었습니다. 그리고 무엇보다도, 4년 만에 다시 열린 여름성경학교를 통해 교회에 새로운 활기가 가득 차는 복된 시간을 누릴 수 있었습니다. 이 외에도 여선교회 온천 여행, 연합속회, ‘Shepherd Life’ 성경공부, 봄 대청소, 야외예배 등 다양한 행사들을 통해 우리 공동체 안에 넘치는 하나님의 은혜를 경험하게 하신 주님께 감사드리며, 그 기쁨을 모아 아래와 같이 창립 43주년 감사예배를 드리고자 합니다. 모든 교우 여러분이 기쁨과 감사로 함께해 주시기를 진심으로 소망합니다. 담임목사 김태준 드림 한미감리교회 창립 43주년 감사예배 2025년 7월 6일 (주일) 오전 9시 (1부, EM) & 오전 11시 (2부, KM) * 각 예배 시간에 성만찬이 있습니다. * 어린이부 및 중고등부 예배는 평소처럼 오전 11시에 따로 드려집니다. * 창립감사헌금 봉투는 헌금 봉투함에 비치되어 있습니다.

In celebration of the 43rd anniversary of Korean American Methodist Church, our specially ordered church T-shirts have arrived. We are grateful to Gospel Inc. in LA for their beautiful work, and we extend special thanks to Rev. Sung Ho Chung of Yesbit Church in Virginia for providing the calligraphy of our church name, "Hanmi." During this Sunday’s outdoor worship service, all members will wear the T-shirts together and take a group photo. We kindly ask everyone to attend without exception so that you can be part of this memorable moment in our church’s history.

한미연회 중부지방 목회자 가족 수양회가 많은 감사 가운데 잘 마쳤습니다. 특별히 우리 교회 여선교회에서 저녁 3끼를 제공해 주신 것에 대하여 모든 목사님들과 사모님들의 감사가 끊이지 않았습니다. 이 자리를 빌어 3일간 수고해 주신 남정희 총여선교회 회장님 이하 각 여선교회 회장님과 여러분께 다시 한번 깊은 감사를 드립니다. 이렇게 뒤에서 수고해 주시는 여러분이 있어 우리 한미교회가 아름다운 사역을 선하게 감당해 갈 수 있음을 새삼 깨닫게 됩니다. 지난 주에는 또한 많은 이들의 섬김 가운데 여름성경학교가 큰 은혜 가운데 있었습니다. 학부모님들로부터 감사의 카톡이 쏟아졌는데 한분이 이렇게 적었습니다. "멋진 프로그램 정말 감사드립니다! 아이들이 아직도 여름성경학교에서 배운 노래를 부르며, VBS 이야기를 하고 있습니다 :) 감사합니다!" VBS가 끝나고 박미숙 교육부장님께서 수고한 이들에게 저녁을 대접해 주셨는데 큰 힘과 격려가 되었기에 이 자리를 빌어 심심한 감사를 드립니다! 이런 저런 모양으로 성심껏 섬겨 주시는 여러분, 감~사합니다! The Central District Pastors’ Family Retreat of the Korean American Annual Conference was completed successfully with much gratitude. In particular, there was much appreciation for our church’s Women’s Mission Group, which graciously provided three dinners during the retreat. I would like to take this opportunity to express my sincere thanks to President Chong Clay, and to all the Women’s Mission leaders and members who served over the three days. It once again reminds me that it is because of many faithful hands behind the scenes that our church can continue to carry out its wonderful ministry. Last week, our Vacation Bible School was also held with abundant grace, thanks to the service of many. We received numerous messages of thanks from parents, and one of them read: "Thank you for a great program! Kids are still talking about it and singing the songs they learned at VBS :) Thank you!" After VBS ended, Education Chair Misuk Hasberry kindly treated the volunteers to dinner. Once again, I sincerely thank all of those who have served so wholeheartedly in various ways. Thank you!
