무더운 날씨 가운데 호피 단기선교팀이 무사히 도착해 사역을 시작했습니다. 사역 첫날 기도회로 하루를 시작해서 중고등부 학생들은 마을 어린이들과 함께 놀아주는 돌봄 사역부터 시작했고, 그와 함께 K-Food (만두) 클래스와 보수/수리 사역등이 진행되었습니다. 밤에 내린 비로 온도는 조금 내려갔지만, 그래도 무더운 날씨에 수고하는 팀원들을 위해서 계속해 기도해 주시기를 부탁드립니다.

By God's grace, our Hopi short-term mission team arrived safely and has begun its ministry on the reservation. The team opened their first day together in prayer, committing every aspect of the week to the Lord. Our middle and high school students began by serving in a children's outreach ministry, spending time playing with the children in the village. Meanwhile, the women of the team led a K-Food (mandu, Korean dumpling) cooking class while the men worked on repair and maintenance projects.

Although rain during the night brought some relief from the heat, temperatures remain quite high. Please continue to keep our mission team in your prayers—that God would protect their health, renew their strength each day, and use their words and acts of service to share the love of Christ with everyone they meet.
