Hallelujah! What a wonderful month of grace October has been! Every time I walk into our sanctuary, I can still feel the excitement and joy of the praise concert with Rev. Ja Eok Ku and the powerful words proclaimed by Rev. Sung Chul Lee.

Rev. Ku, who loves the mountains, wanted to solely focus on the praise concert that he didn't even get to visit the Garden of the Gods. He told me that he would love to come back someday to hike up those beautiful mountains of Colorado. Before leaving, he told me, "Pastor Kim, Part Two of my praise concert is even better!" I certainly hope we'll have another opportunity to invite him back!

Rev. Lee, who led a revival at our church several years ago, returned this time to lead our Colorado Springs Korean Churches' Joint Revival. I am so thankful that he once again blessed our community with the abundant grace of God's Word. Every session was a time of blessing, as his messages deeply touched not only our own church members but also those who came from other churches in the area. His many years of pastoral experience and the wisdom that comes with them truly awakened and stirred our soul with the Spirit of God. What a blessed revival it was!

I also want to thank those who faithfully attended these gatherings and everyone who worked so hard behind the scenes to make them possible. Above all, we give thanks and glory to God for blessing us with such wonderful times of grace! Hallelujah!

Also, throughout October, we have been gathering to study the book of Philippians together. About 20 people have now completed four weeks of study, with just two more to go before we finish in mid-November. Using the Coffee Break Bible study, we have been sharing the rich blessings of God's Word each week and what a joy it has been! I am so thankful to everyone who is faithfully participating.

And now, November is here! Daylight Saving Time has come to an end, and the weather is getting noticeably colder. This coming Saturday is marked as the beginning of winter in Korean calendars. Looking at the snow covering the top of Pikes Peak, I can hardly believe that winter is indeed just around the corner. In Korea, this used to be the time when families began preparing kimchi for the winter. It makes me wonder for a moment what I should be doing to get ready for the cold months ahead!

November will be a busy month as we prepare for our annual Church Conference. Committees will be meeting in preparation for the conference scheduled for the first Sunday of December. As we look back with gratitude for God's abundant grace throughout this past year, I pray that the Holy Spirit will also fill us with wisdom as we plan and prepare for next year, when our church will celebrate its 45th anniversary.

For this special anniversary year, I have chosen "Once Again, Revival!" as our theme. This is a theme I have been thinking and praying about for the past two years. My hope is that, as we celebrate and give thanks for God's faithfulness over the past 45 years, we will also embrace the new vision and power that God gives us, and step boldly into a new season of His grace.

On this first day of November, and this first Sunday of the month, may our KAMC be filled with abundant thanksgiving and exciting new hope! Hallelujah!
