Bagel and coffee are available in the fellowship hall downstairs. Please come down and join us!* Sunday School Class on “The Gifts of the Holy Spirit, part III” is being held in the Young Adult’s room, right after our Sunday Service. Please join us with your coffee and bagel. Stephen Amacher is leading the class.* The next Monthly Bible Study will be held at 8 AM, September 12 and will be studying the Book of 1 Corinthians, Chapter 4, led by Stephen Amacher. Everyone is invited.* Last week, a devastating flood struck the border region between Nepal and Tibet, causing widespread destruction and resulting in the deaths and disappearance of more than 3,000 people. * The local Nepalese church, led by Missionary Koo, whom our church supports, is planning to provide relief supplies—including rice, instant noodles, clothing, blankets, and other necessities—to 11 churches and their members affected by the recent flooding. Missionary Koo and young adults from the church will personally travel to the affected areas to deliver these supplies. If you would like to join us in this relief mission work, please write “Nepal Flood Relief” on your offering envelope and submit the offering by Sunday, September 6. * We ask for your prayers and generous participation so that our small acts of love and compassion may become a source of God’s comfort and hope to our neighbors in Nepal who are suffering from this disaster.* We also ask that you continue to pray for Pastor Gurung and the Nepalese church families here in our community.* Rev. TJ Kim will be traveling to South Africa on August 27 to attend ‘The General Conference of the Global Methodist Church’ and will return on September 11. Please pray for a safe trip.
